PRCC Board of Directors

Dr. Margaret Power

• Serves as liaison with broader non-Latino community including universities;
• Oversees Friends off the Puerto Rican Cultural Center- a solidarity grouping which promotes the work of the PRCC with the non-Latino white community, including, but not limited to forums, press conferences, workshops, volunteers, efforts, fundraising drives (bowl-a-rama, walk-a-thons, etc) and community development tours.

Michael Hannan

• Coordinates fiscal work with each program including preparing an annual audit.

 

Alejandro Luis Molina

• Oversees technology implementation in programs
• Coordinates all publicity, including website, press conferences, annual reports, special publications, brochures and booklets.
• Works closely with PRCC fiscal coordinator;
• Coordinates fund-raising and cultural events, including, but not limited to, Tierra Adentro Concert, Bowl-a-Rama and Annual Donors Drive;

Josefina Rodríguez

• Sits on Peoples Parade Committee
• Works closely with Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos Museum of Puerto Rican Culture and History.

Enrique Salgado Jr.

• Liasion to business community;
• Coordinates Fiesta Boricua;
• Coordinates studies of Paseo Boricua;

Dr. Roberto Sanabria

• Serves as resource person for VIDA/SIDA;
• Coordinates Friends of the PRCC, particularly on public relations efforts;
• Liaison to gay and lesbian community;
• Educational resource for programs.

Irma Romero

• Liaison to Mexican community;
• Active in Puerto Rican community over 30 years;
• Resource on health issues.

 Lourdes Lugo

• Works extensively with young people in capacity of Director of Albizu Campos High School;
• Active in Puerto Rican community over 20 years;
• Resource on women’s issues.
