Track 1: "Where I'm From"

This recording features the written and recorded work of the Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos Puerto Rican High School English One students. Their instructors were Beau Golwitzer and Denise Ruiz. Assisting and advising the students was Eric Noden whose participation was made possible, in part, with an Illinois Arts Council Artist in Residence Grant. The students included in this recording were Ron Muñiz, Margarita Marquez, Valerie Garcia, Angel Miranda, Kathy Galarza, Omar Aviles, Katheline González, Dilia Delgado, José Perez, Sylvia Rivera, Nelson Rocha, and Philip Santos.
